The breadth and scope of his responsibilities have included building and leading 300+ person sales organizations to helping young organizations grow to become large companies. On several occasions Al took sales organizations from last place to first place in their company’s sales rankings. Having personally recruited, developed and coached hundreds of sales professionals and sales leaders, Al continues to pursue his passion for sales and marketing recruitment and development through the work of SGI Training.
Al is listed in Who’s Who Among Outstanding Corporate Executives. He received a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science and an M.B.A in Marketing and International Business from New York University.
2001
Al Scarpa founded SGI Training with a handful of clients. In the early years, SGI focused on delivering the highest quality sales training, sales process consulting and leadership programs on the market.
2005
As the company expanded to a worldwide market and SGI’s professional network continued to grow, clients began inquiring if we could not only train top level executives, but if we had recommendations for qualified applicants. And thus our introduction into recruiting was born.
2024
Fast forward to the current day and recruitment of sales and marketing talent has become the cornerstone of SGI. Over the last decade we have placed hundreds of qualified sales and marketing candidates into senior positions in the global market.
On a personal note..
Al is married with three children and currently resides just outside New York City in Ridgefield, Connecticut. He enjoys skiing, sailing, photography and reading about business and world news. His greatest passions however are SGI Training and anything to do with computers, mobile technology, and the internet.
